1. Jackal's are a type of canine, they stand about 16 inches at the shoulder, and weight vareys from 11 to 26 lbs. jackals are omnivorous.

2. When Jackal pair are together they do everything together. jackal parents teach their young to hunt at 6 months. Jackals are primaraly from africa, but can be found in different reigons. The blacked-backed Jackal stays mostly in the savannas and woodlands.

3. There are 3 speices of jackal. Black back, golden, and side striped jackal. They are related to dogs, coyotes, foxes, and wolves. The jackal eats Impala, Springbok, and Duiker, just 3 of the 72 types of antelope.
